Bee Cause Film Circle: The Pollinators Film Educator’s Guide

The Bee Cause is proud to present our new partnership with Collective Eyes Films and filmmaker Peter Nelson, sponsored by Bee’s Wrap.  The Educator’s Guide for a Film Circle for The Pollinators has been created with a focus on middle and high school students as they delve into understanding the plight of pollinators. Pesticide usage, loss of habitat and food resources, and antiquated farming practices have taken their toll on our pollinators — specifically the honey bee. Our Educator’s Guide will assist the teacher as well as the students with their journey.  This essential companion provides background information, quality research materials, video links, and roles for students while maintaining Common Core Standards.

Through our collaboration, Collective Eye Films is making this movie available exclusively for educators through Kanopy or via a digital purchasing license.  Details are included within the Educator’s Guide. This is the perfect companion to help you lead discussions about the problems, possible solutions, the part the consumer plays, and what is looming on our environmental horizon.  At The Bee Cause, we aim to provide maximum impact in your classroom!
